The whole forum is mainly about opinions.

Yeah I'm winding him up.

He can't objectively look at line up. He sees Foals at the top and has his blinkers on.

If pendulum had have been co-headline with Biffy he'd be creaming all over the randl line up.

day tickets are still 59.50 each. Only reason I'm considering going for a day. They were 90 a couple of years ago.

Still wouldn't pay that for the Sat or Sun at Leeds personally. It's not that it isn't good value, more that it's a complete waste of money for me personally

There are a couple of acts I've swapped round when trying to split it into stages. For example on Saturday NME I've got Slaves subbing TDCC with Jack Garratt  third down. I think The Vaccines/A$AP Rocky could go either way. I do think The 1975 subbing the co-headliners with one of The Vaccines/A$AP headlining NME would make a lot more sense but I'll take Neil's word for it.

I was thinking ASAP 3rd top. But the positioning on the acts suggests otherwise. Unless of course it's completely random.

Hopefully ASAP will be nowhere near the main stage on Sunday and we can be spared another year of 'Sunday rap spot' rubbish.

Well I mean I wouldn't say Kendrick is either. But it is rubbish if it ends up as some dumb token rap sub slot.

Yeah I now get what was meant in the original post  I really can't get my head around The 1975 being on the NME of that is that case. Especially if The Vaccines play main stage.

This amuses me as when the poster came out, my prediction for it pan out was The 1975 heading NME and that means they truly have got a 3rd down, not even a in between slot.

A$AP Rocky is shit. Mainstage will be:

Biffy
FOB
The Vaccines
5 Finger Death Punch
The Wombats?
SWS
Cage The Elephant?

Fairly certain the top 4 will be that if The 1975 are indeed headlining the tent, 5FDP are a band currently getting pushed by download for headliners, and played 3rd last year, it'd be beyond stupid to have them any lower than 4th, also the closer they are to the more 'download' bands (FOB + Biffy) the better, as they're not going to be an easy sell to the standard RnL crowd fair, especially if mainstage is less hard rock/pop punk/xx-core

The Vaccines are dreadful outdoors compared to in a tent, and The 1975 are bigger right now. It just makes no sense whatsoever.

Yeah I think it might be a crossed wire or two - it seems outrageous that The 1975 would step up to headlining arenas, R1 stage at TITP and just shuffle up one at R+L. When this album tour gets going, they might not even be far behind the top two in terms of popularity.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
