from the tone of their statement, happy landings will have passed all the info to the rspca and due to the publicity on this one, the rspca will make sure to do a few follow up visits to check dolly's ok and seeing a vet.

my bleak side wonders how long before dolly ends up signed over to the rspca due to vet bills or something and what chance there is of her getting a new home quickly by then, given the fuss will have died down and she's an old girl.

that owner better treat her well now. :angry:

Did anyone else see the brown Lab "working" dog onsite? the owner was in a mobility scooter...

God knows how they got a "normal" dog onsite. Makes you're blood boil how people can't treat animals with disregard

Now I don't want to post anything reactionary here, but I think we can all agree that setting fire to whoever left the dog in a tent would be the right thing to do.

Slightly off topic, but that just reminded me.

I have a friend whose pet cockerel had taken it up itself to continuing to peck his legs every time he went in to feed his chickens.

After one peck too many he finally gave in to rage and dispatched said cockerel, before serving it up as Sunday Roast.

I'm not sure if that counts as being cruel, but I thought it was pretty extreme.

The dog's owners had reported the dog missing. Why is everyone saying it was abandoned?

From watching the RSPCA show on TV, there was a part where the female RSPCA officer wanted to take a dog out of a garden that had been left, she had to get the police as she said they have no power to confiscate the dog, only the police do. News to me, always thought they could take dogs in distress.

Again, not based on my own experience, but the Americans I've heard it from that have measured it, with it being cooler inside than outside, yet have had people attempting to smash their windows after 15 minutes.

Couldn't afford the vets or the kennels I'm thinking.

Should have to have a license for a dog. Far too much horrible abuse, far too much poor poor training
