and anyone who wants to avoid the stresses of ticket day - for £202,000 you can have yourselves a 3 bed house with free tickets

That's actually not bad! Thought prices would be higher than that, even if it does need a bit of work. Shame I haven't got anywhere near that kind of money :(

It's in a small quiet cul-de-sac just behind us. Surrounded by fields. Very tranquil. The houses are ok (my friend lived in one opposite) - no character but all good and great gardens. Within walking/stumbling distance of pub and working mens club where you can schmooze with Michael any week in the year. ...I'll stop now as I really do sound like an estate agent. But my village is rather special.

The village is very special.

Sadly work and business rather dictate our location - but that is good cos I love the Forest of Dean.

It also means that when we visit Pilton it is all the more special - and we get to lose hair at least once a year trying for tickets.

You can afford to loose any more hair :)

Neither can I

Best show the boss tonight, she would be nearer her mum and free tickets.

Plus Dee and PiltonDigger just down the road.

I can dream :)

I'm surprised that Estate Agents don't have a "Free Glastonbury Ticket" category to go along with "Heritage Home", "Period Dwelling" and all the other bollocks they come out with.

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
