If The War On Drugs got a full hour then Jack White would finish same time as The Pixies start. TWOD losing 15 minutes of their set will work in favour of people heading to Pixies after Jack White.

Bands usually always get a full hour on The Pyramid don't they?

don't think it's "Bad" though...i've mentioned on here that this is their Verve song in my book. sounds like a completely different band from Brothers just a few tracks beforehand

Lost In The Dream has kind of taken over for me now so i always forget what a great album Slave Ambient was. love this song a lot! really hope they play it

So how were they? I opted for Blondie in the end (which I'm pleased I did) but I have been wondering what War On Drugs were like. Anyone go along?

Very good, as it happens. Was a last minute decision for me due to laziness and a majority team vote, but I enjoyed it a lot. Drew a reasonably chunky crowd, I thought.

I really enjoyed their set. The one two of turtle island followed by these was a pretty perfect way to start my festival (well, the music side)

They were good but not one my highlights. Still enjoyed the set but would have been better in a smaller environment.

i thought they were a fantastic. great way to start the festival off for me. their crowd was obviously slim because of Blondie being on at the same time but it really didn't matter. they sounded really good. just a shame about their short set time, although they still managed to fit a lot of songs in - most of the ones you'd want to hear
