Probably in chunks that gradually get smaller. Some acts in the next few days. Slam line up (about 20 acts) on Friday I think it was. T Break announcement (16 acts) will come around April/May. BBC introducing (15-20) acts will come around the same time probably. Rest of the line up will be in groups of 5-10 over the next few months. That seems to be the pattern of the last few years.

so does that mean the majority of the big acts have been announced, i mean in terms of size is it likely that acts as big as lets say Bastille will be announced?

I reckon most of the big names (headliners, main stage subs, R1 headliners, Tuts headliners) are announced. Might get a third down on main stage (which I think Bastille would be), and everything else will be smaller than that.

Yeah I reckon we've still got 3rd down on Sunday to get but that's it for the bigger acts.

    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
    • Seems like the most obvious choice. Surprised they havent played since 2019 either.
    • My review of All Together Now 26, it was a whopper. https://niallmcquaid.wordpress.com/2026/08/06/all-together-now-2026-festival-review/
    • Yep it was on my list, id have loved to have gone.
    • Am a relative amateur in the ticket/tech shenanigans and not part of a large group etc. but personally preferred the F5 bashing approach and got through twice in recent yrs (plenty when didn't, mind) - 2023 but it crashed on me at the final hurdle and then again in 2024 where I held my nerve when it crashed again and managed to get.  Think now I am committed to volunteering if doing festivals as that's close to my heart, so happy to help others when the time comes round.   The most impressive I've seen was bus sales in 2022 when 2 mates casually bagged tickets while in San Sebastian, on a phone inside the stadium during a Real Sociedad v Man Utd game!
