2014 Looking for an answer or advice

Hello - I have been to Kendal once before (2012), but this year have gone for Emperors camping rather than just general. Can anyone advise how far the car park is to the camping area and if it would be ok to make multiple trips to/from the car with the all the stuff? Cheers :-)

Hi Yoxie, the emperor's car park is at most 50 yards away from the emperor's field and you have unfettered access to your car all weekend.

Depends on how early you get there, parking starts pretty much from just outside the entrance gates backwards

Help please.

I have an emperors field ticket but will be camping in the 'Quiet' camping area with a few mates.

Is it a long way between those two area's, as I was hoping to still use the showers etc in the morning?

At worst its a 15min walk from genral camping to emperors field and thats at my slow pace. Queues are pretty long for the showers of a morning mind....id bring a few cans and a chair to wait in

I'd be tempted to flog the emperors ticket an camp with them in quiet, the quiet feel had a block of showers in it that nobody uses cos they're £5 or £6 a go. considering the main selling point of emperors is the showers you could have 3 showers in quiet costing you £18, with no wait !

The emperors ticket with booking fees probably cost you £30

You won't be laughing when you find out the hotpots are staying for the festival in the emperors. I've got my fingers crossed they're camped right next to you and have some late night and early morning practice sessions !

Nope. No beer but you can buy elsewhere and take in with you.

says 9am on the festival website and the shuttle bus's are due to start from 9am so id think 9am
