I fell into that "oh I have to see him this will be my only chance" trap back in 2010 and it was the biggest festival regret I made, he was absolutely shocking.. and to think I missed The Prodigy for that shit :(

I love Vampire Weekend with AM. That'd work excellently. Also great call with Drake, Bombay, Disclosure and Skrillex. I think if Lana Del Rey plays, which would be fantastic, she could go on the Main stage like she did at Coechella in 2013. She has a similar singing style to Frank Ocean who did well on the Main in 2013. Also, Skrillex has been touring with Major Lazer a lot recently, we could see them together as ML would be a very solid booking and are releasing new material. I'm not entirely sure Example would be great, I know he's releasing a new album this year but nobody really seems to care very much.

Otherwise as a lineup that looks fantastic, I could definitely get involved with that.

Yeah I wasn't too bothered with Example either, but had to have some more mainstream pop stuff in there. Lana Del Rey would work on main, I agree, just thought she would make a slightly different Tuts headlining alternative to an Indy/rock headliner on main and dance act on NME.

Would Vampire Weekend be good for a tuts headliner? I personally think they'd be better on main stage, in the sun. But then this is T, and a ) it won't be sunny, and b ) they're weird with bookings e.g. Wanting to put Tom Jones in a tent

I went to see them on their UK arena headline tour last winter. It sold out and the crowds loved it. They can definitely be justified as a headliner and put on one hell of a show, they could definitely work in there or on main just as well.

I'd love to see them anywhere really, but they went down at treat in the sun at Glastonbury last year, would love to see that replicated at T, especially by a classy band. Not just another pop singer. Maybe before or after Lana Del Rey would fit them beautifully.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
