Can we clarify the numbers we should be on?

From today, November 24th, it is 213 days until Wednesday June 24th when the festival officially opens.

So should we be on 213 today or 212 when people can start arriving the night before and set up in the campervan fields?

If it's 213 then I'm up to date. If it's 212 then I'm a number behind.

Just checked....... today + 212 = Tuesday 24th June as being 0 days left to go.

BUT..... seeing as most of us are on their way then or actually already there in some form or another.......... ?

On the strength that I don't know which number to use today, I'm going to post one which isn't numbered. Apparently it's a fire engine. Looks more like a contraption for creating fire than tackling it.

Sure has. Not quite sure why. Somewhere more than 100 posts ago. But the obsession is also to ideally avoid US Fire Trucks (the numbers are too easy).

It's difficult to make out but I believe the number plate of the front engine here reads 210 FLM. Here's the photo;

And here's some bakground info about the shot;

Dennis F106 Dual Purpose 210 FLM London FB

taken 1977 Cavendish Square in the West End, John Lewis in the background. Responding to an AFA, with a typical pre determined attendance of the period. TL probably Soho's. This square is near the border of Euston's and Manchester Square's (now closed)ground. I was lucky enough to live rent free near this location in my first year in London. Dual purpose as they could carry the wheeled escape or, as here, operate as a pump. This is a 1963 appliance, shortly to leave the fleet.
