Cracking frontman though and Hives IMO have enough tunes to play a early set for sure

The hives were easily the most fun band there! Got to shake Pele's hand as he strutted past too which is a bonus!

I wonder what the point in filming it is if it's not gonna be made available to watch! Even if it's just for a week online afterwards I'd be happy!

Not a band I would ever normally see but they were coming on as we walked down from Dairy. But really enjoyed the set, what a frontman. Just what you need to start the festival proper!

Band of the weekend for me too (closely followed by Laid Blak and Deap Vally).

I did chuckle when he said " this is usually the part where I introduce the band, but I hate those bastards. Then they play rock n roll and I love them all over again"

They actually had a much bigger crowd than Chase N Status when I wandered past The Other and they were headlining (admittedly they were up against the Stones)

They're an average band on record who happen to have an excellent frontman and are excellent live. I was pleasantly surprised at how many people turned up to see them.
