Disaster - our Little Thief has closed - any suggestions ?

For years now we have always had a Wednesday breakfast in Farrington Guerney (yes it's a real place) which has now shut !

Where can we get a decent, non service station, non maccydees, sit down breakfast about 30 mins(normal drive time) from site coming from Bristol side

All help appreciated

Most of the pubs on the A37 in that area do breakfast.

Dontcha just love auto_correct_introduce_typos Always seems to me that these so-called helpful 'correction' algorithms often introduce more very entertaining typos than the silly and obvious ones they might actually correct ! Could have been worse tho ...

Have to agree with checking out any conveniently passing pubs tho. Loads of them seem to do a decent brekky these days

Its not an auto-correct. Little Chef restaurants have been know as Little Thiefs for as long as I remember.

My Grandad always called it the Little Thief. Didn't stop him taking us there on every long car journey for an Olympic Breakfast, though. And bitterly complaining about the price Every. Bloody. Time.

I doubt it! If you normally stop off at farrington gurney you could always have breakfast at the farmshop. It's called farringtons and I highly recommend it! Think it opens from 8 though

Thy Olympic breakfast contains probably 2000 calories , and over the years it's thieved me of my waste line. There was one on the m5 near Bridgwater I believe in 2011which may indeed be the one that's closed
