He should also be acknowledged for not being overtly racist to anyone this season, a true example to us all.

in fact, he's got thru the whole season, without offending anyone.

Well, apart from Utd fans. They'd have preferred him to keep going with the racism and biting, rather than playing their team off the park. :P

:D

Has Suarez scored against the other top 4 clubs this season?

who are you calling "the other top 4 clubs"? I need to know that yto give you the right answer.

But he got assists against City in both games, that much I remember. And he didn't play Utd in the Anfield game.

I know fans of other clubs want to suggest he goes missing, but it's bollocks.

The sense of joy from Utd fans in my work this morning. Small time club stuff.

Yup - so0me people are desperate to see Liverpool not winning the league as a disaster, when their season has been a triumph. If they do win it's a bonus, if they don't, oh well.

It's all up to Everton now. Who would Everton fans prefer to win the Prem?

(genuine question, I don't know which way they'd go).

Have to say 7th to 1st to win the title has be a fantastic accomplishment, greatest team to win the premier league and all that.

you're only saying that cos you hope to do it next year.

Pisstakes aside, from what the papers are saying there seems to have been a bit too much belief within the Utd boardroom in the idea that it's easy to win from 7th. There's stuff going around that Utd are going to appoint someone with a "you will win the league" clause in their contract - which bis laughable.

I don't think Everton really care either way, they still got top 4 to go for.

I'd say they've blown that now. They look pretty certain for 5th tho.

Also I still wouldn't rule out Liverpool winning on goal difference, they have Newcastle last game and they seem to get battered every week.

Would probably need a premiership record score though by then though.

What's the record score? It would be nice to see Liverpool get to 100 no matter how the league position goes, given how they've played and how close they are to that big number.

The goal difference thing looks too unlikely, tho it's not impossible. It would take a big spanking of Palace next week if it was going to happen, and I can't see them being that leaky (if Liverpool even win).

The concept Everton would throw a game to stop Liverpool winning the title is so fucking laughable... You have to be kidding right ?

who said that? No one!

edit: if you thought I was, I wasn't. I was merely asking the question I asked - which was about what the "fans" might prefer, not what the team might do.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
