Sbtrkt dj set only now ?

I kinda of thought this too but I think i read In A thread that it was a dj set a few weeks ago, iv heard from friends that his dj sets are good, however that album is amazing if it was a live show I would definitely expect to see sampha

I've seen him dj before, it was way to hard dubstep for me, maybe he changes it up a bit depending on the night as that was at Manchester warehouse project... Would love some guest vocals as he djs, Jessie ware should be about for it... Maybe...

seen him DJ at hideout last year and it was horrible. not sure if I was just too fucked or he was but mixing was pretty bad and was playing like the version of wildfire with drake and the likes which the majority of people i know who like sbtrkt really do not like aha.

if i remember rightly it didn't state that it was either when it was originally announced which would normally point towards a dj set.

saw him live at Bestival last year and it was awful. really limp and disappointing. i've heard great things of his DJ sets but people in this thread seem to disagree...

I've seen him do both sets. The live set didn't really work; I love the album but it's clearly quite hard to recreate live. The mixing/reworking didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

Smashed it when I saw him DJ, though.

Dropped the big songs both times. Will never tire of hearing Wildfire played out but it's been a couple of years so he may be done with it.

I've got a lot of time for both. His dj sets are more 'rave-y' and live is more of a musical orgy of loops and pedals

Actually it's pretty poor as I listen to more of it, the mixes are just fade outs and don't go at all... Think I was just liking his songs...

His brother died a couple of months ago so not sure if that has any significance to why he's not playing live. He's not doing any more live shows until his next year now.

Same applies for TEED, their name was on the poster but its a DJ set.

both arent really touring properly and a dj set will be a lot cheaper. having said that TEED performed live at parklife last weekend and was great.

Teeds live performance is just him playing his songs on a laptop and singing over with some dancers anyway from what I remember...
