exactly, the info that said they were on The Arena was the same info that had them on the wrong day, it's unreliable. couple that with the fact S&I clashing with C&S would be ridiculous from every angle and i won't believe it until it's officially announced :banghead:

If C&S dont headline the Arena, where would you see them playing and Tinie playing. If we assume the top 3 is how it is on the poster and S&I are headlining MTV stage, I think C&S, Tinie and Chic are the 3 main acts that are hard to place

Just looked on Martin Garrix's page, he has a V Fest sized hole in his schedule. He could be this years Jaguar Skills subbing in the Arena even though a bigger act plays before him (Ellie Goulding last year).

I also now think Tinie Tempah could headline Arena due to his placing on the poster being swapped with Chase and Status, with C&S subbing Axwell & Ingrosso. Thoughts?

Hi,

This will be my first time at V and I have a few questions?

Usaully go to glasto but they sold out and I thought I would give V festival a go!

Is there anymore to be added onto the current line up?

When's the earliest you can arrive and set up camp and when's the latest you can leave?

If i took my van can I sleep in it in the car park or is it tents only unless I buy a camper van ticket and take a camper van?

Sorry about all the questions, I would look up the answers on there website but not info yet.

Cheers

John Martin seems to have dropped off the poster, maybe V are going in the opposite direction and taking acts out instead of adding more in

With the new announcement they seem to miss out a few acts anyway, like howling bells and Vance joy. Makes me think what they're playing at with the poster or if they just forgot what acts they've booked!

Thanks Bopinup!

Is it true that you can only get on site at midday and you have to be off by 11pm? Glasto goes on till the early hours! Must be something to do with there entertainments license? Do people party on around the camping areas or is it complete shut down when the site is closed?

Yeah some acts are missing, but John Newman was there before but disappeared after V updated their FB page. Either he has dropped out like Little Mix did or they have got even sloppier with their poster making.

Yeah the site only opens at 12 I think, and all stages finish at 11 but I think some people carry on the party in the camp site. There were people dancing and drinking at 5AM last year near my tent, which was funny for a little while but after about 20 mins of not getting back to sleep it wasn't :P

they're not strict on the kick-out time, they just have to advertise that everyone will be off site by then for licensing/policing reasons as far as i know

how the hell can they ensure everyone's off site by 12pm when the coaches are so disorganised that people are still waiting for their one which was due at 11am at 2pm anyway

That's a bit rubbish, good job I can walk home when I'm kicked out.

I'm on about while the festival is on mateos must be carnage with everyone off there trolleys and trying to clear everyone back to there campsites by 11pm! I know when I'm on one I don't want the evening to finish especially at 11pm!! Seems a bit early to shut things down?

I've never been so I might have all this wrong and it might be the main stages that shut down at 11 while others are still on till late?

11 is just when the music is advertised to finish, the site doesnt have to be deserted by 11pm. After calvin Harris last year it took me what felt like half an hour to get out and back to the campsite.

I cant remember but did the Lucozade and Carling tent at Hylands stay open till after 11? I remember walking past and people were still in there on the saturday, and are any films shows in the arena after 11 like on the friday night

hahaha pal there are only four music stages, all finishing about half 10, the comedy one finishes mid-afternoon

don't get your hopes up for much late-night fun if you can't entertain yourself, just gonna be straight with you

Half 10?!!!! Getting bloody earlier lol!! Do they allow music around the campsite? Might have to dust off the cob webs off my old sl2s and smuggle in a Generator and some old school vinyl!

Half 10?? Beyonce was still going after 11 due to her starting late. Wasnt much after 11 but she still was doing Halo, so I dont see where you get half 10 from :S

What is the film show buddy?

Sorry about all the questions, I'm a V virgin and have only ever been to glasto and the isle of white.

I think the Stone Roses film was shown and Wreck it Ralph, maybe another one as well. But im pretty sure they were only on the friday night, didnt know if any others were on other nights because I never really paid much attention

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
