Muse won't be there (and definitely won't have a new album) and Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake would headline separate nights, not together.

Okay - replace Muse with a different band.

If they headlined separate it would be disappointing. I am sure a few punters would like to see them together?

Not going to quote people, but it doesnt matter if Muse have a new album or not, they are headlining Coachella with the same tour so if they wanted to do a UK Festival (which I think I heard they wont be doing) then they still could new album or not, doesnt matter.

Jay Z and JT would make sense for them to be on the same day co headling but I cant see it happening unfortunately, with a longer set for them to do their solo stuff without the other having a part in all their songs. That could be done by not having a Sub and just going all the way through where the change over would be.

I dont think V would clash Avicii and Calvin Harris, just wouldn't make sense. And I dont think Alt-J could headline 4music. Beady Eye maybe could as a way to make up for last year (both to the fans and their bank accounts). Jessie J wouldnt be 4th on main when she was 3rd on main this year. Lady Gaga could be a good headliner, I dont think Rihanna will be there, and Katy Perry could be a good 3rd or sub maybe, but I dont think she has enough pull as a headliner

I doubt Elbow would sub if they are headlining Glasto, but maybe they arent going to be there. I think Tinie Tempah could be a good 4music headliner against a band on main, maybe Kasabian or similar.

Passenger (-Daniel cheers-),

Yes he will clearly be the surprise headliner when one of the headliners gets pregnant...probably Jay Z getting pregnant ;)

If its Jay Z and JT i would imagine they would be on seperate days.

Looks like Elbow are subbing Glasto, so wouldnt be anything subbing V too.

Would be more inclined to think something along the lines of:

Justin Timberlake

Lilly Allen

Ed Sheeran

Bastille

4 music - Chase and Status

Jay Z

Elbow

Pharrell Williams

Kaiser Chiefs

Avvici

If they can headline Coachella why wouldnt they do so at Glasto. I dont really know if they ever made it big over here I think I only know one of their songs but they must have had more. Also, if they wouldnt headline Glasto why would any other major festival have them as headliner

They're much bigger in America. Did anyone say any other major festival would have them as a headliner...?

    • First outdoor gig of the season for me last night. David Byrne in a soaking wet St Anne’s Park. Absolutely spectacular (didn’t expect anything less to be fair!). If you get a chance to catch him on this tour, don’t hesitate. At least half the set were Talking Heads classics. Marvellous all round (ok, I’ll let him away with the song about how much he loves his apartment😁).  IMG_1177.dng

    • Don Broco secret set.
    • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
