1975 are quite likely, I don't think McBusted will do it, they easily could, but I don't think they'd be offered the high spot theyd expect.

Also a given is whoever wins critics choice, which means one out of Chloe Howl, Ella Eyre and Sam Smith (most likely two)

I think McBusted would want a high slot, but I could see them 3rd or 4th main or 4Music, or sub/headline arena. Either way I would have to see them because i said no to my girlfriend about buying tickets for their birmingham show :P

I'd say they'd want 3rd on main or headlining 4Music tbh

  • 2 weeks later...

I wonder if Jay-z and JT are doing a coheadline set... and calvin is headlining the other day.

I think I heard last year that a DJ set wouldnt sound good on main stage, plus he got a headline size crowd last year anyway when he was on second stage. But Jay-Z and JT would be good to see, a little bit last year now but id like to see it

doubt they'll change the winning formula - doubt having two sell out festivals with different pop headliners will be an issue to them.

I'm amazed we've had at least one guitar band headlining each year - I would've thought a full on pop year would've been done. Closest was Eminem and Arctic Monkeys but I'm thinking more of AM now rather than 3 years ago.

    • If anyone spots any new tour posters on site could they share them please? Hoping for ADTR and Electric Callboy tours
    • It completely depends on how that count is done   if it’s individuals entering the arena each day, over the whole weekend, it was at 30% capacity and in no way one of the highest attended festivals in the UK   it was in no way as low as 30% though so that can’t be the measure, so as a number, with no context, “90,000” is meaningless.   Only one category of Leeds ticket seems to have moved on to second tier pricing at this point. I don’t think this is necessarily a sales indicator as much as a method to keep prices up north lower than down south but with this and the anecdotal video evidence, it’s clear Leeds has been nowhere near its capacity (of 90,000/ day) the last 2-3 years
    • £56 - £118 was the price range.   Which for an arena show, dare I say it, felt "okay" in this environment.
    • I’m sure someone said on here months back that they self confirmed at one of their gigs, like late last year
    • Yeah Kurt Vile keeps growing on me more and more. DCFC I found solid enough but relatively forgettable unfortunately.
