ZackRyder
Faithless would be miles to big for the arena. They subbed in 2010!

daniel.k
I dont really know them much When were basement jaxx last at V? And Steve Angello, one third of one of the biggest super-DJ-groups, is only in the arena but it would be good to see him

daniel.k
Yeah 2004, Steps and other similar bands were only just stopping being big. Thats like Texas or Travis headling this year, just wouldnt happen I wont really get into older music as ill concentrate on who is at V that I have a chance to go see without clashes. Might go see John Newman his new song sounds good
Bobinup
I'm loving Monsta right now, new song is all over the radio already so the Undercover could be rammed by the time they share a sub-headliner slot with er The Script.. Basically look set to be this year's Conor Maynard.
daniel.k
It looks like he will be starting just as The Script finish, Misha B is more clashing with them. Maybe it will be a full tent but maybe people will be getting in place for Beyonce
tom taylor
Really hope everyone goes Beyonce so we can get close for Steve Angello. Last year we turned up late for Nero and was only 5/6 rows from the front, was brilliant!
daniel.k
I'll be at Beyonce but I think I'll leave half way through to see Steve and see how everything is there unless Beyonce is truly truly amazing
Prat.
I'll tell you for free you won't leave Beyoncé once she's started her set.
daniel.k
Why don't you think that. After seeing her I can say I saw her and then see Steve Angello too :-) it will be hard to get out but I'll manage if my gf allows

daniel.k
I'm 18 and my gf and her friend 17 so her songs are aimed at us with all the pop songs, but I'll try not stick around

GuitarManDan15
Here's my attempt. I've tried to use most of the same bands just in different positions, as there must be a reason most of them were booked in terms of availability and cost I couldn't be bothered to do a full line up so a few of the bands on the 2nd and 3rd stage may be placed a little high Main Stage Main Stage Beyonce Blur The Script Paramore Will.i.am Frank Ocean Jessie J Two Door Cinema Club Labrinth Olly Murs Paloma Faith Scouting for Girls The Fratellis OCS 2nd Stage 2nd Stage Stereophonics Calvin Harris The Courtenners Basement Jaxx Rev & The Makers Rita Ora Maximo Park Of Monsters and Men Everything Everything Conor Maynard Arena Stage Arena Stage BRMC Steve Angello Travis Jaguar Skills Ellie Goulding The Eels Katy B McFly Little Mix Lianna Le Havas
daniel.k
Doesn't look too bad, maybe a few clashes but could be good :-D

Boris The Spider
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Embarrassing if that's not who they meant ha x
daniel.k
Ah right, never heard of them, they sound more of a guitar band, maybe suited to Reading or Download

daniel.k
Guitar bands not suited to V... it was founded on guitar music... Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are a fantastic band please for the love of god broaden your musical horizons! It makes me so sad to look at old V festival line ups and see how good they were and how poor they are now. I'm well aware the poor line up nowadays is a reflection of the current popular music scene which is about as innovative and exciting as dogshit! 1997 was great; Blur, The Prodigy, Kula shaker, beck, foo fighters, placebo, pavement, ash, echo and the bunnymen, chemical brothers and daft punk. 2004 was fantastic, Muse and the strokes at the top of their game. Add to that the pixies, the charlatans, NERD, faithless, Kings of Leon (when they were a kickass rock blues band), massive attack, elbow, BRMC, scissor sisters, kasabian, primal screem, beverly knight, the delays , groove armada, basement jaxxs and a pre-back to black amy winehouse
Kris_lcfc
Just because its not all guitar bands doesn't make it a shit line up, its just how music has evolved since the 90's
DarthSaul
The thing that annoys me the most is when pop artists sample proper tunes that most their audience don't know the original of ie labrinth - express yourself
