I was going to make the witty reply "perhaps she got wedged up her own arse", but then decided against it because it would be mean.

Oh, shit, unwitting I've done it anyway.

I think you should charge face value, as you're out of pocket, or maybe you and Badger should split the cost of face value and they buy you a pint or two. I won one a couple of years ago and gave mine away free, but that was for a good mate who couldn't have afforded it.

I think you're being very generous. Well done.

I won 2 tickets to Reading once and sold them to mates for face value or maybe a little less, although they were only about £80 then. I already had mine.

However also at Reading, a mate found a ticket and gave it to a ticketless mate who was camping with us, this mate then sold the ticket. The mate that gave him the ticket surprisingly didn't appear to mind, it would of pissed me off majorly.

I once sold my Reading ticket to a mate of a mate for face value...he wasn't best pleased when he got to the gate and discovered I'd f**ked up and torn the stub off and thrown it away when tearing the tickets up. He wasn't best pleased when Reading told him no at the gate and he'd turned up all geared up to go.

After that debacle, I vowed to never sell a ticket again ha, ha.

Can't knock this lad for selling it tbh - he has paid for his after all so shouldn't be out of pocket whilst someone else is rocking about Glasto having paid x4 less than him. The only grip I'd take - and I'm northern so I have to have one - is the thread started off as if he was giving it away for nothing.

my friend won two from the guardian the other year, two of our other friends offered to buy them off him, they offered full price for each ticket, but he charged them half each, he got his money back for his ticket, they got to go when they didnt expect to, and at half price too! was a win win in everyones eyes!

Just to update everyone ....

THE TICKET ARRIVED IN THE POST TODAY

To be honest after having exchanged messages etc with Niall I was fairly confident he was genuine, but the ticket actually came through I could never be 100% sure.

Niall is a true legend of Glasto and I'm hoping we can meet up at some point over the festival to have a few ciders etc....

    • 1. Baby Dave - Billy 2. A - Prang   Not really got round to listening to many more in May so not really fair to vote but shoutout to EPs from Bleech 9:3 - Bleech 9:3 & Villanelle - Measly Means
    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
