Glasto run

I was thinking about organising a run round the Glasto site on Thursday morning (not too early and if it's not too muddy). I'm currently preparing for the london marathon in a couple of weeks and thought it'd be a nice thing to keep me going.

Anyone done this before? Would anyone else be interested?

I was actually broaching this subject with my mates yesterday. They thought I was mental, but if others are keen I'd be up for it. I've got a 10k the following week, so need to keep ticking over I think.

I'd warn you of the uneven ground. I played in the eFests World Cup and away from the established tracks the fields are very uneven. I ended up with a slightly twisted ankle and 2 broken fingers (after losing balance in a pothole) from about 20 minutes football.

It would have to be early doors I think - people will still be arriving later and things will get going with music cranking up. From the sounds of it, it would have to be along the well trodden paths

I've thought about going for a run at Glasto loads of times, always before I've got there though. My personal feeling is by the time you've done it and had a shower, you've wasted a big chunk of the day that you could use doing fun stuff you can't do at other times of the year. Treat yourself to a week off - coming up the Embankment in a few Sundays time, you'll be quite happy with the never running again idea :)
