The queues were bad on friday morning last year, would guess theyll calm down early afternoon as the bands will have started by then and a majority of people will already be in.

I have booked the early entry pass for Thursday but noticed that the shuttle bus ticket says valid from Friday...so is there no deffo no shuttle on the Thursday?

Do they have showers?

The only showers they have are in the emperors field but you need to be camped in that field to use them, im sure there was the same issue last year with the shuttle bus, I think a few people ended up getting a taxi in, not too bad if split between 3 or 4 of you. Im sure a few of the locals could put a decent taxi number up in case thats your only option. If I hear anything about shuttle bus ill post it here

There are showers in general camping also?

The missus had two showers last year and said they were very good for a festival shower.

Did you have to pay for them jacko ? Not sure why emperors would be so exclusive if there were showers in general camping and pootopia throughout the site. Whats the £25 for an emperors ticket get you ? Gotta be more than an seperate enterance, closer parking and slightly more space !

Or was your missus one of the people who sneaked through from general camping to use the emperors showers !

Does anyone know if they're doing the alcohol on the first trip only rule this year? Just need to know whether we need to carry it all in on the first trip and then go back to the car for the less important items. i.e. everything else!

Theres no alcohol on first trip rule this year, they seemingly didnt know it was in place last year either, a few keen stewards enforced it !

It isnt listed anywhere this year - and Kendal say it isnt in place. Sadly they didnt bother to tell security last year. Be prepared just on the off chance to have to leg it back to the car and get the rest of the booze!!!

Cheers Vibe, I use to post on T but haven't been for a few years, guess posts must be deleted after a while. Thought I'd dust my wellies down and try a smaller festival.

Cant think of any festivals that allow you to take glass bottles as most festivals are held on farmland and broken glass is a nightmare for them, pretty par for the festival coircuit no glass

I remember going to an oasis gig in glasgow the other year, didnt mind the neds drinking buckfast objected to the bottles flying through the air when they were empty ! Spent more time watching in case any were heading for me than watching oasis !

Don't think anyone can guarantee you won't Pooly, guess at least having a shaved head I can just wet wipe .
