Would LOVE that, but I guess Skynyrd playing in Ohio on the 14th kind of rules that out :( Bad Company in the US the following week but nothing scheduled for any DL dates...

Only seen Black Crows once when they supported Stereophonics in Cardiff and they were absolutely dire that would be a good choice as far as I was concerned!

Could see Bad Co. doing it. Tho apparently on their last tour (Joe Perry Project opened, I think it was their last tour in UK??) they were only doing 50 min sets, don't know if they have enough material.

Could The Black Crowes don it?

Hahahaha. Is this guy for real? The Paul Rodgers fronted version of Bad Company released six studio albums from 1973 - 1982. In addition to this, a few Free songs are also featured in their set, including All Right Now and Wishing Well. (Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke of Free, formed Bad Company after Free split-up.) I thought I had best mention this, as you clearly have no idea;-)

The Bad Company shows in March /April 2010 were approximately 90 minutes in length, which is about right for a band of their generation.

Jeez, based on your lack of knowledge, for their sake, I sincerely wish they don`t get asked to play.

Excuse my ignorance, I'm not really a Bad co. fan, all I know is They had 2/3 hits that the average download goer would know. Having a quick look at their recent set-list to see if I knew much of their stuff (feel like makin love, Cant get enough, thats all) I haven't seen any Wishing Well or All right now, neither did they play it at Sweden Rock last year.

all I was saying is i don't know if they have enough hits to carry out a full 2nd stage headliner set.

and the "50 min set" thing is just something I remember reading in Classic rock a few years back.

Dont be a dick all your life.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
