ticket exchange question

I think you should just try in the resale, if you don't get one bad luck.

If you do try it though imagine the feeling of getting in. We're excited because we have a ticket and just the general build up. Imagine coming over in a plane and not knowing to the last minute if your in or out, walking through the gates you would have a Massive smile.

Sorry, but rules are rules....maybe... if you can't go you don't get to choose who gets to go instead of you. At this point we have all only paid a deposit. Your friend who can't go has only lost £10.

That's how I got a ticket this year having been unsuccsesfull since 2008,I made my flat mate who works as a web designer get up on the sunday morning,we both went to his work to use the better internet connection and he saw the back door on Twitter and got me my ticket :gamer: the poor fella doesn't even go to festivals, that's how desperate I was

Peoples view of what's right and wrong can get jaded when they believe a cause to be a 'just cause'. We all know that using someone else's ticket is undermining the anti-tout system and that it prevents someone else from obtaining that ticket through legitimate means, but would most of us consider doing it if we were really desperate to get in? Probably. We have to admit it's still wrong though.

Stayed in the campervan fields in 2010 so had to show our tickets every time we entered the site proper (twice a day at most). My husband was asked for extra ID several times - his ticket was completely legit - luckily he had his drivers' license with him. We reckon he was stopped so often because he was clean shaven in his photo and had grown a beard by the time of the festival. Add that to sunglasses and hat because of the glorious weather and security staff became concerned. At least half the times he was asked for extra ID it was as we were leaving the site to go back to the van.

After that I personally wouldn't take the chance of going in on someone elses ticket (identical twins notwithstanding!)

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
    • Yup and they aren't all going to get them, some are going to miss out. Speaking of this, I met someone at RIP who went to RFP and his view was band wise it's value for money but it wasn't a festival itself he'd be rushing to return to. In fairness as well he probably liked more of the headliners there than me this year whereas I was more undercard and he wasn't returning.
    • Maybe Starmer's legacy will be a war with Russia.
