The correct answer was 1 & 2. I'm sorry, but wearing safety gloves will also still protect you when it's sunny. They don't stop working when it gets hot!! lol

Fiona just sent me an email asking if i wanted to work backstage on the Pyramid Stage (probably because it's my 5tth year in a row on the recycling crew). I can't do it because i'm going with mates, but it's cool to get the offer. Imagine seeing The Stones wandering about!!! (it'd be like working in a care home lol)

You don't get 'that' many bands/artists back there tbh, but the occasional few and celeb types who wangled a VIP pass.... Majority are just peeps who got there because of someone they know who can get them in... That's how I know! Lol.....

Ye. There's been talk about the backstage job on the FB group. I thought I may of been asked as this will be my 4th year doing it but I wasn't. No worries anyway as it was a mix of AM & PM shifts and I prefer earlies so don't miss out on the music in the afternoon

Yeah, it's my friend's 4th and he wasn't asked. It must be a 5th year thing. But i'm happy with just the AM shifts too. Like you said, you miss less that way.

I selected the Thursday Crew and then, in the notes, I asked to be placed on the Pyramid Stage team on the fri, sat & sunday mornings. Hopefully i'll get those shifts because the Pyramid field is a shorter walk from Tom's Field lol

So it sounds like I need to get 'walking fit' before the event, so I don't expire by Sunday afternoon and can look forward to eating and drinking what I like AND lose a stone. Bargain, sir!
