So I'm guessing that the Basement Jaxx rumour is also correct.

I really hope Basement Jaxx are back because they are a brilliant live band. Happy enough with Example headlining, seen him twice and he's good. Feel he'll step it up another level once given headliner status too.

I wasn't a big fan until I seen him doing a dj set at titp 2011, he absolutely smashed it! I'm a big fan. Now and have seen him a few times since. Well suited to Rockness

Example says he cancelled his gig in Aberdeen because only about 20% of the tickets were sold. That bodes well for shifting tickets as a headliner...

I went to see Example when I had time off work at T in the Park last year and he had one of the biggest crowds of the weekend. He's really popular, I think he'll shift a lot of tickets for the student age market. Dunno if I'll go see him at Rockness but I think he's an alright headliner and don't think he would cost that much, leaving more money for the undercard and Clash tent headliner.

To be fair, he is very popular, I think he'll shift big tickets, especially to student demographic. He had the crowd going absolutely wild when he played in 2011. If Jaxx rumours are true, I'll be delighted. I stupidly missed them in 2009, caught their DJ set at Sankeys in Ibiza last summer, and they were amazing. I've heard great things about their live set.

I've seen yer auld da Example 3 times.

When I seen him at Mallorca Rocks he admitted, after 10 tracks, that "that's all my shit songs done".

Seen him at Milton Keynes Bowl (opening act for Swedish House Mafia) and TITP12, he's all right but never a headliner in my opinion.
