Morning all!

We're taking our baby boy this year and have got a trolley ready for him. I was wondering if anyone knows whether there's anywhere on site that does repairs? I've got some spare bolts, washers and socket set etc. but would rather avoid things like inner tube replacements and so on. Any info?

Thanks!

MixFest on here has made a great cart for his kids in the style of the Scooby-Doo Magical Mystery Van - I'll see if I can get a picture put up after I see him this weekend.

A bit of help please. We're bringing our two girls, 14 months and 3 1/2 years. I had bought a garden cart a bit like the ones above but have thought twice about using it as I have one worry/concern...

How to you protect the kids if drunk people stumble and fall onto it?

I can't think of a solution so was planning on sticking with the Phil and Ted plus doubles kit as it's got metal surrounding the bit where they sit and then there is a detachable bar you can put over the front so if someone did fall this would stop them crashing right onto the girls.

I get lighting it up/making it easy to see etc but there are lots of wasted people and someones bound to stumble by accident and go sprawling over it.

VW camper buggy looks amazing and I reckon a solution!!

Anyhow - thoughts/ideas greatly received!!!

Cheers.

We used a similar but smaller garden cart in 2011. We covered it in lights and thankfully no one stumbled into it. It got a bit ridiculous getting through the crowds after U2 when people just ignored the lights and tried to jump over the cart so we ended up avoiding the other headliners to avoid the crowds. The one we have for this year has quite high sides so even if someone did fall into it, they're unlikely to fall into the kids.

Hey guys. So excited that it's nearly time.

I appreciate it's late in the day to be asking this, but has anyone got any advice on if a cart (or any other suggestions??) is a good / bad idea for an older lad (he's 8). He's pretty good at covering distance on foot, but this will be probably be the most walking he's done over a period of days.

I'm torn between getting one and probably leaving it in the lock ups during the day, and using it in the evening when he gets tired, or just not bothering at the risk of spending a decent chunk of time with him having a piggy back.

Any help greatfully received!!!

Edited to say that he is 8 not a bubble blowing smiley :)

For the problem of people falling into it, you could use hula hoops cut in half to make 'ribs'. That would help? This as my main worry with mine that's why we made it from wood, but we have a massive car so can fit it in there will no worries. Lighting it up with light an amber flashing light would work at night? I also intend not to get too close to the Rolling Stones (Only big headliner I'm going to).

I would take one for an 8 year old to use at night, but you'd need to weather proof it in the next few days, would you have time? We have an 8 year old, 1.5 yr old and 8 month old using our and the idea is the 8 year old will be going in when he can't hack it anymore. But then again we are planning relatively quiet Thurs and Fris with a late one on Sat and early on Sun.

It depends what you get up to in the evening I guess.

Our Lad is 6 and we are using a bike trailer for him, we are putting it in the lock ups in the daytime though, so that he uses his legs and hopefully wears himself out!!

I can't help but think these are missing the super-reflective hi-viz strips cyclists etc use if you're planning on taking them out at night they should at least be as visible as that - but the camper is amazing I hope you're ready for a lot of folk wanting to take pictures!
