Ah - I have a feeling the patients would be pretty pissed off if I finished in 30 minutes and left them to their own devices (even though they are all asleep at present!) and I'm pretty sure the Nursing and Midwifery Council wouldn't be too impressed with me either.

I am sat faffing about on the internet. I have stocked cupboards, checked drug expiry dates and done some mandatory training online. It has been a strange night as everyone has slept solidly which is unheard of in my line of nursing.

I should really check they are all breathing again!

Although as we'll probably never do it again, we did smuggle a friend into the festival in 2010 using a very large holdall and sacktrucks sarcastic_blum.gif He was bordering on heat exhaustion by the time we released him from his hidey hole. We put a few crates of cider on top of the holdall and then secured the whole lot to the trucks with pallet wrap, did leave enough free for him to breathe though...

If you know the source of your green you could try and get hold of the leaf trim that is produced when cropping the plant, this will be almost as potent as the actual bud. The leaf is harsh to smoke but has plenty of thc crystals on it. The alcohol is acting as a solvent disolving the thc, if you then boil the alcohol off you would be left with hashish oil. Alcohol would flash off at less than 100 deg c whereas the thc won't burn until 220 deg c plus.

Apply this liquid treatment to repel water away from the surface that it is applied to. Keep material dry never let it get wet. Great for canvas, clothes, covers, tents etc. It is a Nano treatment that bonds to the fibres of the fabric and repels the water away.

I just try and wear my trainers, i hate the idea of wearing wellies anyway, clearly at the last 2 festivals its been plausible to get away with it (well at least after the friday and it dried up in 2011), fortunately the weather was great in 2010, i left my wellies at home.... oops.

But i'd say don't be going too overboard with wellies, if it's anything like Liverpool, you'll wear them even when it's sunny, go for the second lowest quality, usually cost about £15 and are belters!

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
