When asked as to whether they will be coming out with the name of the last headliner, FIB answered that they will be coming out with more names in the next few days... They do not categorically say that they will announce the headliner though.

Don't wanna go round throwing too many rumours but i saw a lad on twitter who said for all you guys going to benicassim your going to get to see my dads band! so i tweeted him saying whos your dads band, turned out his dad is gem archer, beady eyes guitarist and he told me two days ago that beady eye had agreed with beni to play! if anyone doesnt believe me you can happily go on my twitter and read the tweets!

no clues one anyone else on my behalf! only other name ive heard mentioned for headliner is prince :/ and i very much doubt beady eye would headline

I doubt they could afford Prince, or that it would be his first choice of festival to play. Vince may have been able to convince him to play Hop Farm in 2011, but that's when he had cash to throw at him.

yeah thats what i thought when i heard it the fact he played hop farm he has connections with vince! but who knows we'll find out, personally id rather it not be prince and be someone else! for me the ideal final headliner would be the who but i think ill have to keep dreaming :L

Shame about them being ruled out. I reckoned with the rave reviews that the Lonerism album got, that they might merit a headline slot. But you're probably right, main stage stature.

since listening to them i couldnt agree more! they are so similar to MGMT yet i prefer MGMT! i saw mgmt about two years ago though at a festival and they were unreal and just the vibe added really nicely to the festival!

Hope not, regarding Plan B. The guy is a complete knobend. Had to endure him supporting The Stone Roses at Heaton Park. The crowd wasn't feeling it.
