Benicassim 2013!

The Stone Roses, Maccabees, Miles Kane, Florence & The Machine were on the line up for both Optimus Alive and Benicassim last year.

Biffy, Tame Impala, Two Door, Pheonix & Alt-J would be excellent additions to Beni this year, for me.

Anyone know when the next line up additions are due?

Hi, new here! Me and five mates are trying to decide between this and going to Leeds festival - we're all 17 and were thinking of getting a coach from up north to London, then a coach from London to Paris, then an overnight train from Paris to Barcelona, then a coach to Valencia - we've priced it up at about £100 return, would anybody suggest this way or should we fly?

Also, how much spending money would you advise taking... and does buying a free camping ticket allow you to camp from the monday - monday? Also, are there silent discos and dance tents as well as the main stage (similar to Leeds) and is the nightlife in the town any good?

We're flying Gatwick to Barca, cost £71 return. Return train tickets from Barca are about £25. Pretty sure you can camp all week.

Beer is 7.50euro for a litre in the arena. But you can get a six pack of estrella from the supermarket for 2.50euro, litre of bourbon 7.50, vodka 5.

The music at the festival runs from 8pm til 6/7am....so no need for silent discos or nightlife in town.

Sigur Rós are on the ticket at Coachella (although so is every single band/ artist who has ever existed: http://assets.coachella.com/uploads/media_items/lineup-poster-splash.original.jpg) Can see any number of those (Bar The Stone Roses) playing Benicassim.

Anyone know if/when just day tickets will be released, having a week in Barcelona before, then just going to come through for the festival when we find out which days have the best lineup, not liking the idea of camping for a week. Any ideas? ))

I know....

But I have heard things about under 21s or U18s having different wristbands. Don't know how that works with being able to get served at the bars in the arena.

Anyone know the situation with ATMs in Beni? Looking to get a Cash Passport - heard last year there was a 1 hour queue for the beach ATM! Surely there's more in the town?

There's more ATM's the further you walk down the high st mate, everyone seems to spend ages at the ones closest to the supermarket. Plus there are a bunch in the festival, I'm sure I saw some.

I will be 16 at the time of the festival. How strict are they regarding the entrance of minors without a parent present. My friends will be 17/18/19.

I'm looking at the possibility of booking a hotel or something for the duration of the week but they're all pretty expensive as I guessed. Has anyone ever stayed at the Camping Riberamar bungalows and know how far out they are from the site?

Trying to think of the last headliner. Wouldnt be surprised to see it being someone like 30STM or Mumford and Sons. Both doing festivals fairly near the time; Mumford doing T and 30STM doing 5 festivals in June/July. Neither band has any Spainish dates so far either.

Vampire weekend - new album out in may, headlined 2010, beni do tend to repeat book

The strokes - new material out, again previous headliners 2011, perhaps they won't have arctics and strokes headlining together though as they both headlined 2011.

Chemical brothers - played the fest many times before (headlined twice) , beni loves a dance act

Mumford - touring and yet to have a Spanish date

Prince - may be a very long shot but Vince power got him to play hop farm, he is releasing new material also.

Daft punk - would just be unreal but doesn't look likely atm, if they're touring then there is hope.
