Mumford & Sons, Daft Punk/Depeche Mode, Arcade Fire

I see Mumford doing the same as Flo this year. Head Bestival, sub R&L and T probs.

Arcade Fire - not known if actually touring so one slot like Stevie then a bigger tour run the year after.

the other two depends on who if any of them obvs.

I think people need to face facts that Arcade Fire are pretty much beyond Bestival now. Yes I know we've had the Cure and Stevie now but why would they play Bestie over Glasto/Hyde Park/Isle of Wight/V or thier own arena tour?

Why?

Bestival is not really a haven for Indie bands is it? especially ones as melancholy (The Cure exempt) as Arcade Fire! and dont get me wrong if they were headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury I would be there.

I would not want to second guess RDB but would be suprised if hes looking at them for next year!

The Magic Numbers, Super Furry Animals,Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine,Elbow,The Flaming Lips,The Cure and New Order...

I guess maybe New Order/Primal Scream are a bit more dancey, but essentially they are indie bands.

    • Do people want an arena experience though? Especially for sub par bands. Rather a band do more nights at an independent venue for more money than 1 big one.

    • Are we still expecting Anna Von Hausswolff?  I recall seeing recently that she'd cancelled some tour dates due to illness
    • Hey everyone! My friend and I are heading over from Sweden to Tramlines this summer. We had our eyes on a bunch of different festivals in the UK, but since most of them sold out before we even knew if we’d be able to make the trip, we finally settled on Tramlines. Why Tramlines, you might ask? Well, because we’re absolutely crazy about British music, and finding a festival like this (where you also don’t have to camp, a huge plus) made it impossible not to buy a ticket. The fact that I’ll also get to see The Enemy after beeing a fan for 19 years didn’t hurt either.   Since the app doesn’t work over here… is the Clashfinder schedule 100% accurate? What’s the venue like, and what does the map look like? Which sides of the stages are best to stand on? How long does it take to walk between stages? What are the prices usually for food and drinks? Is it easy to get to the festival from town? And is it easy to get back into town? Is it allowed to walk around with a beer anywhere in the venue, or are there those stupid fenced-off bar areas? As you can tell, I need all kinds of info, so please share your best tips and tricks to make this the best festival experience possible.  I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! 😃
