Love Maiden but if it's just the Maiden England set I'll be passing on this.

Plus that's pretty uninspiring booking if it is Maiden, Rammstein and Slipknot/Pearl Jam. Would liked to have seen BFMV (I know Axewound pretty much ruins that, and I don't like BFMV that much but it'd be cool), Avenged Sevenfold or someone from the Hard Rock/Metal scene to be bumped up to headliner. Moan over.

where you get it from? although it's fairly obvious.

Pearl Jam looking most likely for Friday, I don't think it'll be B4MV as Axewould are in place at the moment and the other fit being Corey's slipknot isn't going to happen, said it wouldn't for ages like a lot.

I think there is next to no chance that the Friday will be Guns N Roses original.

A guy has put up:

Pearl Jam

Evanescence

Iron Maiden

Stone Sour

Rammstein

Deftones

With Limp Bizkit, Enter Shikari and Skrillex as 2nd stage headers. The one I don't see it LB but other two are fair possible.

That's not a bad shout.

I couldn't be any happier than i am with Maiden. I will never tire of them having seen many of their original shows back in the 80's/90's it's good to see them again.

But no other Maiden show could ever come close to their original 1988 performance, now that was in a league of it's own.

I think the full gig is available somewhere on youtube.

Where's this lineup from Gaz? Looks good to me apart from Evanescence, they're quite irrelevant now imo. If Limp do headline the 2nd stage, I'm hoping they're against Maiden, would do me a treat!

Are most people predicting Pearl Jam to be the 3rd (and seemingly American) headliner then?

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
