How much have people budgeted for reading? I'm never quite sure how much I need.

Was thinking in the region of 200.

To spend there or counting stuff I'll buy to bring?

At most festivals I typically spend ~ £30 on foodstuffs to bring, £20 on booze and take £80, only spending about £30 of it.

For spending stuff, I was hazarding a guess at 40 for food. Eating at a pub in reading on the thurs. I was planning about 80 on booze. The rest just incase of emergency.

I'll take 200 then it feels good if I bring most home with me and feel like I saved haha.

Just make sure that you dont get it nicked (that goes for everyone :))

Raining at Split festival today :( it makes a festival so much worse, literally the only thing i hope from Leeds Fest is that its sunny

Gonna sound stupid but I'm taking all in cash just so avoid taking my wallet. Gonna store in the car and when I need more, go get more.

I'm dreading crap weather. Nothing beats a sunny festival.

Yeah I could put up with bad weather if I was going for a day and still really enjoy it but having to deal with it across the weekend I can imagine would be fairly demoralising. What will be will be though.

    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
    • Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
