what did you buy?

The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation

Neck Deep - Wishful Thinking

Blink 182 - Neighbourhoods (didn't have a physical copy and never really listened to it....not a big fan of it)

I really enjoy the first two, The Greatest Generation is amazing and one of my favourite albums of 2013 (took me a while to find it a reasonable price) and Wishful Thinking is just fun (even if it is a bit samey). Also got Mongol Horde to redeem myself

Erm.... Congratulations?

I appreciate the support

I think both are terrible, but Sleeping With Sirens are the worst. When I first heard them I couldn't tell is Kellin Quinn was a male or female.....and this was also a music video on Scuzz.....

My friend at uni said she was looking forward to seeing SWS because the kids at her placement played them quite a lot. I said, don't you think his voice is too high? And she was shocked because she genuinely thought Kellen was a girl.

Also, Greatest Generation was £5.99 in HMV this week, did you get it from there?

I was watching a music video and he looked like a girl so it made it even more confusing...I didn't know what to think of it

Yeah I did. Went in with my mate after doing a history exam and I just picked it up straight away. Feels good that I can finally listen to it on the go

Also me buying 3 Pop-Punk albums might explain why I have been a bit dopey this week........

My friend's girlfriend is obsessed with SWS. On the day she was seeing them she made me sit and listen to them with her for an entire free period. Was awesome init.

Jealous much!

I think I have only let around 5 people chose music to play to me

I don't think it's too bad, the singles were alright and there's a few other decent tracks

The singles are alright (I like Ghosts On The Dance Floor), but the rest of it isn't great. Just an average album in my opinion (by average I mean 5/10, not any of this 6 or 7 out of 10)

I can't stand any of those metal bands which girls fawn over

Sleeping with sirens, pierce the veil,

The only one that's manageable is a day to remember, but I'm seeing them because a friend of mine said they'd come to royal blood if I came with them to ADTR

I can't believe that Kellen Quinn and Vic Fuentes are 28 and 30 respectively. Isn't it about time they, you know, stopped dressing like 17 year old scene kids.

Sleeping With Serins and A Day To Remember aren't metal Matt.....

According to the clashfinder, none of the stages are finishing early this year. Have they gone back to all stages finishing at the same time?

Has this been confirmed somewhere?

Clashfinder isn't official. MattDavies__ is the one who entered that data so you could probably ask him about it.

Well I'm not gonna go "No they're shit leave me alone".

Do what I do and be more polite "not my kind of thing"

Unless they are one of my best friends and I'll just say what you said

So there are people that are younger than them and are more mature? Crazy world.....

I'd definitely say ADTR are.

I'd say that they a Pop-Punk/Post Hardcore band that contains elements of Metalcore

    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
