I know its down to the person... However having said that you very rarely see older people at Leeds... I saw a few familys this year on the sunday for the first time too

R+L has a very young demographic compared to most, you'll see far more range at glasto or lattitude for example. Having said that, it still has older people going, just based more for 16 to 25 year olds generally.

When Cringe 182 got announced I declared there was no chance I'd go unless someone ridiculously awesome played, and by that I mean Tool or Daft Punk. It'd have to be someone right at the top of my "must-see" list, and I can't think of anyone they could/would get that would be good enough.

Absolutely incredible. 2 nights of Portishead, PJ Harvey subbing one night, Grinderman the other, also seeing Swans, Caribou, Liars, Doom, Beak> and GY!BE. And even amongst all that lot, Portishead managed to stand out as the superlative act.

And yeah, a lot of people on the glasto boards agreed that their other stage slot was the best set they'd ever seen. I just need to see them, Beth Gibbons' voice is beyond superb.

Yeah I can't afford it this year but I definitely plan to do that one time, would be a magical experience all round.

Holy shit, that's such good value for those acts. Need to check it out. Still never been to Festival Hall (that is where it's held right? ). Was offered a ticket so see Anthony and the Johnsons there but couldn't make it. Never ever been so gutted in my life.
