Courteeners were incredible! One of the bands of the weekend for me, came back a massive fan. Don't think they can get to a high main stage level though.

Two Door, Bombay Bicycle Club, Foster The People and Vaccines will all probably just get bigger with new albums and will easily be high up on line ups in a year or two. Strong chance Alt J and Jake Bugg could do this too with more albums.

The Courteeners have missed their chance. I think they'll perenially be a midday undercard act selling out hometown shows from now on. It's a shame as their early stuff was very very good.

I choose QOTSA because it could still happen. There is nothing from Download saying that's it's an exclusive show, they played glasto last time and won't be at T, V and I'd doubt IOW.

Their guitarist said Download and Rock Ness. Plus I suppose they'll have a short tour as well. They won't be at R+L.

Not going for a share between R+L and T then?

Ah okay man, I wasn't fully aware of that.

And nope, it won't be The Killers, or if it was it'd be silly and much more points towards Glasto sharing Mumford I feel than R&L.

Glasto as said has a history of giving bands their 1st try. So do R&L but if you have a instant sold out arena tour under your belt and Glasto come calling, what do you do.

Mumford did something very kasabian like a while ago, kasabian kept bigging themselves up, Mumford said, we don't want to be as big as oasis, i think it was.

Mouseboy11, it's exactly the same in different words. We don't want to be as big as Oasis = We know we're going to be huge and sell out everything going but trying to play it down more slightly. They don't have the arrogance of Oasis mind, then again, no many do

Cant see any band being as big as oasis in the near future, oasis were pretty lucky the era they were in.
