i don't think there needs to be an arguement about wether bloc party can, they just can't, and if they do, it's silly.

the cure were debated wether it's be a stupid booking, not wether big enough but wether right, was still booked.

Gazza have you actually read this interview or not? My money is you're repeating something you're heard and simply belived it or you've read something else and got things mixed up (both wouldn't have been for the1st time) as I don't buy after months of knowing this you mention it for the first time today or it actually happned.

oh my piece about Oya was defo in the direction of Blur not playing. They still have 2 headers to announce I think, can still comfortably not be them.

IMO, R&L would not get Blur without T also having them. Not sure why I think that.

Just to say as well, with those people who saw melvin benn at reading saying that pearl jam, blur and the killers were ruled out, heresay or not, they were right about the killers who everyone thought at a point was a stick on.

I'd forgotten about what Melvin had said. So now the headliner pool gets even smaller as it seems unlikely that Pearl Jam or Depeche Mode will be there now. I wonder what festival DM could be headlining.

there's nothing saying DM won't be there now, 2 uk dates but very early year, a bit like KOL's were, not a full tour though

it's 29th august, note that it also says about the fest wouldn't be having metal headers till at least 2014 but circumstances on these do change.

what doesn't change is wether a booker feels a band is big enough or not.
