Prodigy........ thoughts everyone? I am a bit surprised they've announced all 3 headliners so early this year they normally hold 1 back until the ticket prices go up and announce the last 1 in feb/mar, I think it's Soni for me this year line up permitting of course.

You knew what I meant! :P

Everybody gets their info from somewhere, I posted it on here and Download forums no-one else did, and I could have kept the source to myself but I chose to share it. Next time i'll hold onto the source and pretend Andy phoned me eh?

I was just was being honest

I thought they'd do that too, maybe they thought The Prodigy wouldnt have a huge impact and last year they took ages announcing Def Leppard and everyone had built iy up in their heads it was gunna be the amazing headliner and most people were disappointed, so they probably didnt want that situation again as its arguable Prodigy are the weakest of the three.

Hope you enjoy Soni dude, im so at Download.

Can't see Reading booking two Download headliners the year after, Benn might see it a weak.

I'm happy enough so far and don't mind a bit of the prodigy on a good day they can blow the socks off any crowd, saw them do the 2nd stage at Download and they pulled a bigger crowd than most. After the excitement of the 3 headliners being announced early let's just hope they can keep the momentum up with a stellar undercard. Roll on June not only do i have my 14 year old son for his 6th Download but this year he is bringing a friend who is a girl (careful not a girlfriend) so while they go and see whoever they want i will have more time to myself for a change and not be dragged to see the Black Veil Brides again.

I reckon they are as Damon said they've been meeting and it sounds good, and that there's still something really special about playing.

I'm not sure about Green Day given Neil's comments about them never been bothered again.

I think if GD play then Biffy, Blur, Metallica is a big lineup for the following.

That'd do nicely! Need a good alternative to Prodigy, and every time Motley Crüe have been at a festival I'm at they always clash with someone I want to see more. I'd also accept: Weezer, Machine Head, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Scorpions, Megadeth, and pretty much anyone who isn't Evanescence for the Friday.

    • Hilarious to describe this as suprising, for the guy who can't afford to go on holiday, the guy who goes on holiday is rich, for the guy who goes on holiday, the guy who gets 3 holidays a year is rich, for the guy who gets 3 holidays, the guy who stays in 5* hotels is rich, for the guy who stays in 5* hotels, the guy that flies business class is rich, for the guy who flies business class the guy with a private jet is rich etc..   I think one of the greens video's that they put out that went viral, Zacks description of "the rich" covered 12 people in the UK.
