So they are, my apologies, should really know that one, just the options below then.

I can't think who else but I've had a feeling for Arcade Fire for a while, I know Canadian but some people put it in the same.

Gun N'Roses would defo be a band to want such a thing like the jet, I remembr a few times reading Axl arriving on his own private jet plane.

What about Bon Jovi? They would have their own jet

Or what about Aerosmith?

Dude, I like you.

Been thinking ever since Leeds Festival this year that Elbow should be given a headline shot. And the Isle of Wight Festival would be a perfect platform for it. Just didnt put it in just in case people thought i was bonkers.

Its very unrealistic but for a bit of complete insanity they should approach Enter Shikari for one of the days, that would be completely brilliant.

The Killers

Mumford and Sons

Keane

Elbow

Florence and the Machine

Enter Shikari

Radiohead

Noel Gallagher

He also ruled out Florence and the Machine, Snow Patrol and Radiohead

But keeps mentioning Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam.

If he has Pearl Jam I doubt it will be an exclusive, they'll be doing Hyde Park in some

capacity or Soni

John Giddings also revealed that he was aiming for the "American Trilogy" to headline the festival next summer, which means two more American acts will be joining the already confirmed Bruce Springsteen who is set to play a mammoth two and a half hour main stage show. John Giddings added, that they were not yet in place, but he hoped to reveal another headliner around "Christmas time".

He also ruled out both Pearl Jam, and Aerosmith as being either of the two headliners next summer. The full interview will be published on eFestivals in the next couple of days.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
