Lightweight.

Get yourself down to Wembley,it was Cup Final day last year and I saw us win our first trophy for 36 years and got back just in time for the Undertones, even picked a fellow BT'er and gave him a lift back to the festival. Had a great night with a stupid grin on my face all night.

Super organised. I like it. I aspire to be as organised as that. I need to get started. But to be fair, if I had of bought my booze this earlier, I really wouldnt have any left buy the weekend, let alone the festival...would be too tempting!!

Just out of interest, did we ever find out what was the 'little surprise' for Levellers fans? Or do we have to wait until we get to Keddleston Hall? ;)

A Beta's as easy as pie to put up. We'll be around to point you in the right direction if you get stuck. (We put ours up in the dark on Friday in about 10 mins. I kept us bone dry in some horrible weather, I love it!

***Warning, tent talk**

Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Got a Vango Eos 350 which is like the Omega, but the cheaper Go Outdoors version. Good point if its wet is that mine has a more robust groundsheet than the Omega.

Its high enough to sit in a chair in the porch if weather is bad.

Tickets arrived, beards purchased and some flowery accessories. Just got to get booze now, though maybe hot chocolate would be more appropriate in the circumstances :coldb: (and I'll be in a caravan!!).

This is of course, if we can get out of a somewhat flooded Essex in two weeks time :girlsigh:

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
