I don't think that is to accurate... In comparison to the Spanish league the Prem is far more physical. Yeah compared to the 1970 football league its a tame tiger but its still very physical.

I think the reality is he would get a lot of protection from refs so he would probably be ok as long as he could ride the initial storm. Lets be frank, Stoke etc would kick the shit out of him.

I think Messi would cope with it better than most other 'skillful players'. He's far less of a pussy about getting kicked than the likes of skippy for example.

Yeah he doesn't make a meal of it like a lot of players. If Suarez and Nani can cope in the Premier League, Im sure Messi could.

Messi's strength on the ball and ability to keep going despite taking a kicking is a massive part of what makes him such a fabulous player. There are loads of skillful players out there, but none that i've seen that thrive so much against physical opponents. The only player that I've seen that came close was Ronaldinho in his pomp at Barca. Anyone that doesn't think that La Liga is a physical league hasn't watched many games.

Yup.

Even if there was some truth to it (which I don't personally think there is) it's incredibly stupid of him to put the whole thing back into the spotlight.

It all dragged on far too long, and the Suarez/Dalglish/LFC apologies after the Utd match with Utd's graceful acceptance of those finally seemed to have put it to bed.

Whatever went on and whoever might be the guilty party for kicking it all off, there's not going to be any agreement from all sides about that. Keeping throwing stones at each other about it serves no useful purpose, it only further stokes up the animosity.

Support Suarez by all means but don't contradict the club. Still rather have him doing that than turning up half cut like his namesake

He's a diver no doubt, but that's not really a dive. Probably just about a pen from one brief look..
