The Who are announcing UK arena dates on Monday for Quadrophenia which happen to fall in June. Can't see them playing but if there's a gap and there's a few more rejections with headliners for Glastonbury you never know.

Think Depeche Mode are pretty much booked up for Glasto weekend.

1. Okay fair enough didn't check her dates, but still think there will be a pop/rap headliner - Gaga most likely then...

2. Wasn't sure where to place these, but thought Other Stage generally has at least 1 dance type headliner, and couldn't think of anyone else (who hasn't played recently...)

3. Why not?

I thought Rhianna was a certainty, but not according to dates. Gaga is all very quiet. I reckon Pink may sub though (dint know why I think that)

Personally thought they could sub Stones a while back, but now with the uncertainty around them and the 3rd headliner I would think (and its all opinion) that if they do play they headline.

How about Elton John?? Haven't see him mentioned

Just checked they're free on 28th (fri) and 30th (sun). I think if they did play it'd be Sunday as they seem to have a few days free after...

He could probably play if hes touring, but he's nowhere near big enough to sub over here. He was booked for about 2 in the afternoon at titp in 2010 and I dont think hes become any bigger in the UK since then.

If Elton was at Bestival, he'd be an exclusive (that's what I interpret from RDB's interview on here anyway).

But yeah, I guess there's always the possibility. Think he's more likely for Besti though
