We may be at cross purposes here and I'm genuinely not looking for an argument (currently having a perfect Sunday, why spoil it?) but who do you "know" for a fact that they can get that's better? For all we know, they really want M&S and THEY'VE turned them down. It's all conjecture.

Anyway, genuinely not looking to fight with you, just expressing an opinion (as, of course, were you).

There not likely to have 3 bands headlining so there isn't many options for an alternative so Gaga is a strong possibility.

I hope its not Mumford, I seen 30 mins of there other stage performance and they where padding out their 2nd from top slot with 2-3 minutes gaps between songs.

The Killers do seem really likely tho as it was 2007 the last time they played which brings me back to Arcade Fire who played that year, a band as good as them surely aren't going to be overlooked for more than 6 years,

6 years is 3 coldplay headline slots and 2 Muse.

I saw Radiohead last night and they were amazing, good setlist too - one of the best paced gigs I've been to in ages. If next year marks 10 years since they last headlined it would just make sense...that's my hopeful logic anyways

NO RADIOHEAD!

Seen them at two festivals now, boring, crowd stand in silence, no pace, awful atmosphere just dreary wish washy noises, makes u want to slit your wrists. I appreciated they are gd musicians, but just no. Daft P for me. Stones would be an experience and so would GAGA I suppose....

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't sub or headline second stage. They've headlined big festivals, sold out arenas, won Grammys and sold a lot of records. It'd have to be headliner or nothing. Apparently they were offered the U2 subbing slot in 2011 and turned it down. I can understand why, even though I'd love them to be there in any form.

If they headlined, I would crawl to Glastonbury on my belly to see them!

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
