That is very interesting regarding the twitter conversation, I have a feeling we might get one headliner tomorrow (the Scuzz one) and then the rest on Monday, though I have been saying that for the past month!

you might get one headliner over the next few days, you might get two headliners over the next few days but it seems exceedingly unlikely that you'll get all three within the next few days from what I'm hearing.

to be fair Queen with Adam Lambert could just take a sub slot.

Faith No More, RATM and Guns with Queen there too wouldn't be that bad.

Maybe something like

Faith No More

Marilyn Manson

RATM

Killswitch Engage

Mastodon

Guns and Roses

Evanescence

Queen with Adam Lambert

I'm not saying it's true am I though? It's not by anyone who just posts crap though is all I'm saying.

Anything except for Queen and Faith No More could turn out to be bull shit though.

RATM could be bagged on a world exclusive, only date anywhere this year.

I just hope the rest of the line up is awesome and that Queen and Adam are headlining the Sunday night so I can f*ck off home. I doubt I will be going this year, as much as I would like to see FNM I wouldn't driving hundreds of miles just to see them.

Ps - fair play to you Kipper, you were right on the money - sadly for me.

    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.

    • Chill. There is no chance Sziget will be cancelled by the government. Even the prime minister held a press conference today, where he confirmed this.   Magyar said they do not want to shut down the country or prevent events from taking place. He gave the example that vetoing an event would be like completely cutting off a large consumer’s electricity supply for the organizers. However, just as they have not taken such a measure against large consumers, they have not taken steps to cancel events either. (Magyar did not name a specific event, but he was presumably referring specifically to the Sziget Festival.) At the same time, Péter Magyar stressed that if disruptions occur in the system or the heatwave persists, it could become necessary to postpone or reschedule events (example: some Hungarian football games will probably be held in daylight, moved to a few hours earlier, to save energy), although he believes there is currently little chance of that happening. This is particularly true for events that rely entirely, or largely, on their own energy sources.
    • If the campervan field residents aren’t allowed to cut through orchid they’ve got a brutal walk on their hands.   otherwise not too many surprises
