Fantastic news! Love Nathaniel Rateliff too. Must admit I've gone from being a bit unimpressed with the line up to now getting a bit worried about timetable clashes!!

I am utterly thrilled about this announcement. Never seen him live before, so he's now right up there on my "to see" list. In fact, this "to see" list is getting quite hefty now and I fear it's going to lead to disappointments due to clashes.

The Transfiguration of Vincent is a good place to start. It has a bitter-sweet mood of its own. I've just put on the CD in celebration of him coming to EOTR.

Surprised, as there appears to be a smaller line-up for the Local stage this year.

But I'm not sure I could take much more to be honest. There's so much I want to see that it's going to be tough fitting it all in.

Maybe the Local are only curating one day this year? Would be a shame because they always give us a great line-up, but then again, there's already so much on that I can't really imagine pulling myself away from the music for at least an hour like I was planning to this year.

Anyone else think this is the best EOTR line-up yet? There are about 6 bands on there now which would have no trouble headlining, and I like the addition of some good lo-fi bands this year. Just listened to The Growlers and I think they'll be going on my must-see list!

Yeah, it's solid throughout. Hasn't gone to town with big-hitters and found a thoroughly complete bill. There's so much that I'm looking forward to seeing.

Thought they'd always find it hard to top 2008's line-up, I had to miss a few that year due to clashes, but this looks like it's going to lead to a few more disappointments for me. And that's with me being non-plussed about two of the headliners.

(Incidentally, Paul Kelly's management company re-tweeted my plea to @EOTR, said they wanted him to play, and asked EOTR to contact them if interested...which is pretty cool... )

I am praying and begging (literally) that they get Paul Kelly. He's in London on the Thurs/Fri, then in Dublin the week after, so he could easily play Saturday/Sunday.

He's a genius Australian folk-pop singer with amazing lyrics and melodies. Would go down well even with people who don't know him.
