The second row of artists isn't displaying properly on my browser as well but is still there in the HTML - missing Laura Marling and the Walkmen.

Anyway excellent booking - saw them recently at Heaven and they were v good. New material a wee bit more rocky than the earlier stuff.

What a result, a line that was receiving some mixed feedback from some corners especially re the headliners, has just nailed it! They were superb 2 years ago and one of my favorite bands so i am a bit bias as well as my 13 yr olds favorite band so he is royally chuffed( other than Sufjan that is). This may mean that they are coming back to europe for a full tour after their USA tour, which would be nice!

With this and the last couple of announcements the line is now officially excellent.

Roll on September.

Hi all

Was away in computer-free-mother-in-law-land when this was tweeted, but had a little woohoo to myself. Have celebrated with a slightly irresponsible instant purchase of I Am Very Far on vinyl!

Any idea which day they're on - i.e. to try to predict slot? I know ours is one of the last festivals of the season but I'm now REALLY impatient for a bit of a line-up sort out re: stages and orders etc.

When do you think we'd be likely to get that sort of info?

Ben

what does anyone think of i am very far (so far)?

stage names is where i suppose i got my love of the band, i *get* black sheep boy / down the river / stand ins etc, but is the new one such an obvious strike for the big time as so many reviews say.

i like it, but am taking a while to get *in* to it.

I've only, half-heartedly, listened 2 or 3 times on Spotify so far as I await the arrival of my CD copy this week. What I've acknowledged sounds excellent though, doesn't sound like any more like an "obvious strike for the big time" than, say "Unless It Kicks" or "Pop Lie". Nah, sounds like them being them and doing what they do so well.

    • 1. Baby Dave - Billy 2. A - Prang   Not really got round to listening to many more in May so not really fair to vote but shoutout to EPs from Bleech 9:3 - Bleech 9:3 & Villanelle - Measly Means
    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
