Ok so I'm a lil drunk from celebrating a 19th title but eventually I got round to watching tender from 09 and I thought to myself that's the best song I'll ever see live, so I was wondering if any other efesters have equal memories of seeing an act at Glasto where you thought afterwards that that'll never be topped?

In case you forgot

you've got to hope it will get better than that, that you will see something more amazing. If not, well, what's the point of going to anything? The best is yet to come. Believe it.

Totally agree with both Blur and Neil Young ( and as an "oldie" I also loved seeing CSN and The Who ) But I have so many more other great memories, and I hope to see them topped in 6 weeks!!!!

Live and Let Die - 2004, Newborn 2010, Karma Police 2010, and randomly, just cos it was so special, With or Without You, 2010.

2010 was a pretty good year for me, in retrospect!

    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
    • yeah, but I enjoy moaning about them too much so whatever I guess.   and besides... a few years from now there will be absolutely nothing on TV except for Coben based shows so I'd best get used to it...   🙂        (for anyone who has ever read a Coben book - are the books as utterly sh*t as the tv shows???)
    • Those in the Glastonbury ‘Tour’ thread buying tickets noticed it when tickets first went on sale.   And if you look at the blocks still on sale here https://www.axs.com/uk/events/1489025/muse-tickets?skin=theo2 blocks 410-414 definitely stand out as the only seating areas without tickets available, so appears that they still haven’t gone on sale.
