This is a very quiet recording so, go on, turn it right up Pyramid 1982. (I was there and at every single time they have played 🥭) I am in that crowd somewhere
bamber
Nine years before Aswad on the Pyramid in '82 there was this. Must have been after the OGW set as Bob's Dreads are longer. Tosh still in his Bobble Hat. Pay special attention to Carlton Barrett on drums here. I'm from Edmonton originally - I always knew that Bob (and many other big names) had played at a venue in Edmonton but last time I tried to find any info (admittedly quite a long time ago) I could never really find anything. It blows my mind that Bob Marley played at a venue that was, quite literally, just down the road from where I used to live. how I dearly wish I could have been there to witness this. I cant really remember the building when I was growing up but I'm pretty sure it stood derelict for a while, and it's now a Lild supermarket! (or at least it was last time I was there, but that was quite a while ago).
CaledonianGonzo
Didn't Marley play all sorts of Rastafari gatherings in random places across the UK when he lived in London?
