Hoping we might see Ziggy Marley at West Holts this year

dont think its likely, when i asked west holts man "where's the reggae this year", he pointed me at koffee on the pyramid, and wasn't suggestive of anything else to come.

So Silver Hayes has announced Firmly Rooted a soundsystem culture stage presumably replacing the Gully/Blues hybrid of 2019. The only dub I can see is Channel One Soundsystem, Dubkasm and Bliss Zion b2b Sasha Steppa. Am I missing anyone else on the poster there are plenty of names I'm not familiar with?

Ziggy * is playing Paradiso in Amsterdam - a tribute to his dad, on the Wednesday and Thursday after Glastonbury. I'm seriously contemplating going to this.

Bandsintown | Ziggy Marley Tickets - Paradiso, Jun 29, 2022

As it is so close, I wonder if this might also happen at the festival?*

* Seen Brixton dates above now.

Glastonbury shaped hole on the Saturday or Friday perhaps?

So much trouble in the world.

Again, it is easy to forget the Reggae greats we have lost over the past few years.

Like Robbie Shakespeare for instance

The Master at Work, late in life, The best to ever do it.

Robbie always moved his lips in time with the bass.

Mostly those reggae greats die, shortly after I see them, Desmond, and John holt amongst others.

Coincidence is not causation my friend.

So many make that mistake in the world today.
