Bringing a worldwide exclusive show to this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival, our co-headliner on The Dance Stage is UNKLE Sounds. The ever-evolving James Lavelle will debut UNKLE Sounds, an audio-visual DJ show pushing original tracks from UNKLE’s career plus select UNKLE remixes of other artists and remixes of UNKLE tracks on to the dance floor.

With set and production design by long time UNKLE collaborators, Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, the show will bring UNKLE’s illustrious music and visual history into the future. With exclusive audio and visuals being prepared for these shows, they are not to be missed.

UNKLE on the Friday is beautiful! If they were on either of the other days I'd be severely pissed with an extra band adding to the clash pile up I'm already dealing with on those days. It's good news until they announce someone like Dropkick Murphys headlining the lock up.

People do self confirm sometimes and are then let go. This is due to FR saying to that band 'keep the weekend of Reading and Leeds free'. The band will then self confirm because they expect to be picked. FR tell a whole load of bands to keep that weekend free. They then cut those bands down to the wanted number.

Chase & Status self confirmed last year.

I have never even heard of UNKLE.. what they like? what type of genre would you say? I'll probably see them purely due to the lack of anything else on friday evening.

Looking forward to Sub Focus & Nero, so glad that dance stage has been confirmed for friday at reading.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
    • Word of advice, your work-life energy balance should be 60% energy for work and 40% energy for life. If you're drained after a day's work, that is something you should strongly look into. Especially if it is solely due to work.
    • Well that was a game completely lacking in quality. I think Scotland didn’t deserve to win and were lucky Haiti couldn’t hit a barn door.   However if your Scotland you just take the win and run. It may be enough to get to the last 32. I hope it’s just a case of nerves and now they have points on the board they will show more in the next few games. Better to play poorly and win, then play well and lose!
