No money until Friday?

As you are all aware it's balance payment week! The thing is I don't have any money until Friday. If I 'pay' the balance on Thursday what day is likely for the money to be taken from my account?

I paid Friday and the payment hasn't left my account yet although it looks as though it's been ring fenced by my bank as my balance is £150 lighter

Oh right, I should be able to get away with it then if I do it Thursday, the money will be there the next day, fingers crossed!

Friends of mine had there money taken within 20 mins, i did mine last night and the money still hasent been taken, its a gamble mate!

I suppose I'll just have to take the chance and hope for the best, not sure how long it took them last year to take the dollar though

It took afew days last year for mine to go, just gettin a touch struck with panic now though with my mates money already being taken!

You should be fine, if your really unsure give See a ring, they can be a bit slow, when I paid the deposit it took ages for it to say it'd been booked on the tracker. Also have you got a confirmation email?

My payment on Friday left the bank literally within minutes and, as you have until 23:59 on Thursday to pay, maybe it would be prudent to wait until after general banking hours to give you the best chance of not going overdrawn

I think sometimes they do a real time check of your bank account to see if the funds are there. If there is insufficient funds at that time then I think your bank says so and the transaction fails, regardless of when they actually end up taking the money for real.

I can't do over drawn, if I had an overdraft I wouldnt worry as much, I'm under 18 you see.

Yes i have a confirmation email, but when i use the order reference number on the seetickets tracker theres no dates saying when the order was made?..

If the money isnt in your account i'd be surprised if the payment went through. I suggest asking someone to lend you the money for a day until you have it

I think its a real gamble your taking and would do whatever you could to borrow the money needed from as many people as you can. Good luck!

just submit your order as late as physically possible, say around 11:45pm on thursday and just hope that by the time they take your money it's actually there! i'd say that's the best bet!

Not wanting to worry you but the systems they use will only authorise the payment if there are sufficient funds.

Some are taken straight away (like mine) and some don't get taken for a few days, although they have pre authorised the amount before hand.

I would have a back up plan if possible.

Yup they will pre-auth the card, get the funds from somewhere as I wouldn't take the chance.

I paid for 1 ticket and a CV ticket on Friday and another at 10.30 this morning. I've just checked my account online and although its not appeared as an actual transaction yet the money has been taken out so your really going to be pushing it if your banking on the cash not being taken out straight away.

I'm amazed that people are in this position though, we've all know when we need to pay the balances by from October. If 6 months isn't enough notice for you to have £150 in an account then I've no sympathy for you I'm afraid.
