Melvin says one headliners booked and the other's nearly booked, GOT to be foos already booked, they've been around so much recently and that conversation must have happened, definitely them! The second I reckon is Kasabian but who knows! http://www.nme.com/nme-video/reading-and-leeds-boss-melvin-benn---muse-were-awesome/1133191405001

I think Kasabian are kind of boring, just generic shouty indie really. I've seen them live, there's nothing bad about them, but they'd make a pretty shit headliner, they have no wow factor. I'm not really big on the Foos (actually I think they're shouty and generic too), but I don't doubt their ability to put on a show. I think MB would have to be thick to not get Bloc Party if they're available, they're just a brilliant act, and they've more than earned their R&L stripes.

Oh they will, peoplehave been wanting R+L to book them for ages, they wouldn't play below a headline slot, many wuld imagine they're arena tour will sell out very very quick 2mora and its the only UK Fest they haven't headlined yet with a new album, much like we knew it'd be Arctics at V this year, bet they're regretting that booking cuz they were shite apparantly

There we go, got a little bored so I just started throwing bands in & Alexisonfire comeback set.

Combination of prediction and want. Preparing to be flamed haha!

EDIT: There is a strong rumour that the special guests could be either QOTSA (With Mr Grohl drumming) or TCV (I haven't decided yet ;) )

    • I'm 59. It's not so much the music as the camping/late night chaos I've grown out of at R+L. If I was still local to Leeds I might still be persuaded for a day ticket if the lineup was to my taste.
