It's a shame Coldplay are unlikely to ever play Reading and Leeds again. I saw them headline Rock am Ring and they were brilliant, they're good live and they've got a lot of decent songs. I'd love to see them headline Reading.

The Joy Formidable playing next year would be five in a row, due to how heavily they've toured I think they'll take a year off and come back in 2013 with a new album and play high up in the tent.

Agree with White Lies though, if they want to play next year then they could be high up the main stage due to the size of their planned tour at the end of the year.

For the R+L poster;

Vampire Weekend should clash with Linkin Park, in fact maybe Sunday NME should be where Friday is., it makes more sense. It's a good line up, I wouldn't mind it but there is no inspired bookings, there is nothing there that makes me think "That could be my only/last chance to see them". IMO Kasabian is such a boring headliner.

I think next year there could be a few "last chance" bands.
